Md. Daud Miah, Director General of the NGO Affairs Bureau, visited Shushilan

On 9 August 2025, Md. Daud Miah, Director General of the NGO Affairs Bureau, visited Shushilan Head Office following his tour of Tiger Point, Munshiganj, Shyamnagar.

Upon arrival, he was warmly received by the Shushilan team, led by Chief Executive Upokulbandhu Mostafa Nuruzzaman, who expressed heartfelt joy at his visit. The DG later attended a meeting with Shushilan members, where he was introduced to the organisation’s vision, mission, and ongoing initiatives through an informative presentation and open discussion.

During the visit, the DG also enjoyed a picture drama showcasing the Mangrove Bangladesh Project, which highlighted community engagement in mangrove conservation and climate change awareness. In his remarks, the DG praised Shushilan as one of the prominent NGOs in Bangladesh’s coastal region, appreciated the warm hospitality, and assured his support for Shushilan’s work in the future. The visit marked a significant moment of encouragement for Shushilan.
